We are experiencing significant growth and are looking for someone for the following position to join our dynamic and fast-growing team:

Position: Associate, Regenerative Energy & Carbon Removal

Location: Remote, with travel as needed

Overview: The Associate, Regenerative Energy & Carbon Removal will support program development activities as well as project planning and development activities for multiple climate-related projects that generate environmental products to be sold on the emerging carbon removal market and ecosystem service markets. This will require coordination across various interdisciplinary teams within Silicon Ranch and Clearloop, as well as with external stakeholders, consultants, and vendors to facilitate project needs. Current focus is on soil carbon sequestration, wetland/stream restoration, agroforestry, and other nature-based carbon removal projects that compliment Silicon Ranch’s core business model.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support Regenerative Energy & Carbon Removal program development activities
  • Facilitate Regenerative Energy planning activities for multiple Agrivoltaic projects in various stages of development
  • Support project development and project management activities for multiple carbon and ecological restoration projects
  • Responsible for reviewing and maintaining project records
  • Communicates effectively and responsibly with vendors and partners
  • Prioritizes work in order to meet project goals including deadlines, costs targets, and project schedules
  • Works as a team player with effective written and oral communication skills
  • Represent the organization professionally with landowners, vendors, utilities, local officials, and other project stakeholders
  • Willing to travel frequently
  • Willingness to be flexible and perform other duties as assigned

Reporting: This position reports to Vice President, Regenerative Energy & Carbon Removal


  • Education: BA/BS in Ecology, Environmental Sciences, Agriculture, Finance, Economics, or other related fields
  • Experience: Up to 2 years of experience in energy, climate, or regenerative agriculture project development and/or project management
  • Technical: Exposure to US energy markets and/or carbon markets
