Phase 2 of the Hazelhurst Solar Facility in Hazelhurst, Georgia is nearing 60 percent completion. While more than 27,000 piles have been driven, there are 244,230 modules installed to date. There are more than 300 workers on site, with safety specialists providing materials and information to help the work force make safe choices daily.

At the site, single-axis solar trackers follow the sun across its daily arc, with the tracking technology providing most of its production in the early morning and late afternoon. The Hazelhurst site is expected to successfully generate electricity before the end of the year.
