The recent Houston Solar Flip-The-Switch ceremony in May 2022 showcased how Georgia’s electric cooperatives are working together to meet the renewable energy demands of Georgia’s residents and businesses. Green Power EMC and Silicon Ranch were joined by leaders from Houston County and statewide elected officials to dedicate the new 68-megawatt (MWAC) Houston Solar project in Elko.
