RENEWABLE ENERGY GENERATION TO SUPPORT META’S OPERATIONS IN GEORGIA

The Lumpkin Solar Farm is part of a portfolio of projects that will provide solar power to the Walton Electric Membership Corporation (EMC) as part of the utility’s agreement to supply 100 percent renewable energy to Meta’s data center in Newton County, Georgia.

The 100 MWac Lumpkin Solar Farm was completed thanks to the help of more than 300 craftworkers, many of whom were recruited from the local labor pool. SR EPC, Silicon Ranch’s wholly-owned subsidiary, was the prime contractor for the project and Infrastructure and Energy Alternatives, Inc., was the EPC subcontractor.
