Nashville-based Silicon Ranch Corp. has announced the hiring of three senior-level officials: Randy Boyd as director of accounting and finance; Richard Johnson as senior legal counsel; and Jeff Lee as director of construction.

Boyd’s responsibilities involve accounting and reporting functions, as well as budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, and cash management. His background is with private equity-backed information technology and health care firms.

Boyd (on left in photo) most recently worked with ARx Healthcare.

He is a Lipscomb University graduate.

Lee (picture in center) is responsible for overseeing scheduling, budgeting, safety and execution of Silicon Ranch’s construction portfolio. He has more than 40 years of experience in power generation and construction for both renewable and conventional power, including nearly 100 MW as construction site manager for solar photovoltaic projects.

In addition, Lee will help oversee operations and maintenance activity for the company’s operating facilities.

Johnson (on right in photo) is responsible for corporate governance matters, financing and development transactions, acquisitions and project management.

Before joining Silicon Ranch, Johnson was an attorney in the corporate transactional group at Washington D.C.-based Venable LLP, at which he represented clients in connection with mergers and acquisition and financing transactions as well as general corporate governance matters.

Former Gov. Phil Bredesen teamed with Matt Kisber (ex-commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development) and Reagan Farr (former commissioner of the state Department of Revenue) to form Silicon Ranch in late 2010.
