SRC Strengthens Its Team, Announces Promotions and New Hires

Silicon Ranch certainly relies on state-of-the-art technology to deliver optimal performance across our portfolio, but what gives us our greatest competitive advantage are the people on our team and the values we share. Since Q4 2019 we have continued investing in our talented team by promoting thirteen of our fellow Ranchers and adding eleven new colleagues.

PROMOTIONS

Congruent with our commitment to developing our talented team, Silicon Ranch is dedicated to providing career advancement opportunities by promoting from within the company. The following colleagues have been promoted to new roles:

Laura Adcock, Manager, Accounting

Laura is being promoted to Manager of Accounting, after less than a year of joining Silicon Ranch, for quickly demonstrating her value to the accounting team. As a Manager she will be responsible for tax compliance, assisting with month-end close, and fixed asset accounting.

Jennifer Cain, Director, Project Management

In recognition of the valuable experience Jennifer has brought to Silicon Ranch after joining us in 2017, she has been promoted to Director, Project Management. In this new role, she will be responsible for all civil, environmental, and structural design of solar photovoltaic, gen-tie, and substation projects.

Austin Crowe, Manager, Accounting

Hired in 2017, Austin has become an essential member of our accounting team. As a Manager of Accounting, Austin will be responsible for financial statement preparation, fixed asset accounting, assisting in the month-end close process and compliance with tax, debt, and equity requirements.

Connor Echols, Manager, Project Development

Since joining us in 2018, Connor has distinguished himself as part of our Project Development Team. As a Manager of Project Development, Connor will be responsible for various initiatives, including identification of new business opportunities and financial and operational asset analysis.

David Harper, Director, Project Finance

Since becoming a Rancher in 2015, David has played an increasingly crucial role on our Project Finance team. As a result, David has been promoted to Director of Project Finance where he will develop and manage aspects of financial functions for Silicon Ranch and our portfolio.

Clay Helms, Engineer II

As an Engineer II, Clay will monitor, assess, and report on the performance of our solar facilities across the country. In addition, he will assist with the daily administration and operation of plants, which include managing planned and corrective maintenance and emergency event response.

Mitchell Ice, Director, Project Finance

Mitchell joined Silicon Ranch in 2018 as part of our Finance Team. His dedication to improvement has made him a valuable asset to our company which is why he is being promoted to Director of Project Finance. In this role, Mitchell will manage and support multiple aspects of Silicon Ranch’s project finance and corporate development activities.

Cara Kovach, Senior Manager, Marketing and Communications

Cara joined our team in 2018 and has helped enhance the Silicon Ranch brand through quality design, community and partner events, digital media, proposal development, and marketing collateral. In her new role, Cara will support the company’s origination efforts through her management of a diverse range of marketing and communication activities.

Savannah Reynolds, Senior Manager, Accounting and Finance

As a result of her dedication to her work and ever-expanding skillset, Savanah has been promoted to Senior Manager of Accounting and Finance. In this role, she will be responsible for the month-end financial close process and cash management oversight as well as assisting in financial statement preparation and transactional tax compliance.

Paul Russell, VP, Associate General Counsel

Since 2017, Paul has brought his experience and skills to bear to strengthen the legal function at Silicon Ranch. As Vice President, Associate General Counsel, he will help manage and support the company’s critical legal function.

Nick de Vries, SVP, Technology and Asset Management

Coming to Silicon Ranch after more than 20 years of working in the renewables industry, Nick’s experience has continuously proven invaluable for SRC to thrive in this field. As Senior Vice President of Technology and Asset Management, he will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s operating portfolio as well as technology selections for new and prospective projects.

Ali Weaver, Director, Project Development

Ali was hired at Silicon Ranch in 2016 to help establish our Project Development function. As our company has grown, her role in it has continued to expand with it. As a Director of Project Development, Ali will be responsible for the development of solar projects to ensure that they are properly prepared for construction and operation.

Virginia Williams, SVP, Project Finance

Virginia joined us in 2017 bringing with her an extensive background in renewable investments and tax equity, skills that enable SRC to continue moving forward and take advantage of the opportunities presented to us. As the Senior Vice President of Project Finance, Virginia will direct Silicon Ranch’s project finance activities, including tax equity, construction debt, and permanent financing.

NEW HIRES

We’ve been excited to welcome the following new teammates in recent months. Individually and collectively they bring the type of tremendous experience and skills that truly set us apart:

Mitchell Carnahan, Staff Accountant

As a Staff Accountant, Mitchell is responsible for revenue and accounts receivable duties, sales tax filings, and cash reconciliations. 

Cheryl Cruz, Senior Interconnection Coordinator

Cheryl, a Senior Interconnection Coordinator, is responsible for supporting all aspects of the Interconnection and Substation work on our projects. She assists in the preparation and tracking of Silicon Ranch project interconnection submittals, and also helps with updating and continued development of the company’s Power Delivery Standards.

Conor Goodson, Director of Project Development

Conor Goodson was hired as Director of Project Development where he coordinates with the business development, finance, and operations teams to facilitate project development needs. 

Rob Hamilton, Corporate Communications Manager

Rob is joining us as our Corporate Communications Manager where he supports the marketing and business development teams with strategic messaging and content development. Previously he managed communications for former Vice President Al Gore.

Erin Hanratty, Project Manager

In this role, Erin is responsible for overseeing and supporting the execution of day-to-day project operations. Prior to becoming a Rancher Erin served in the United States Navy as a Nuclear Service Warfare Officer.

Jake Ighile, Director of Contracts and Procurement

As our Director of Contracts and Procurement, Jake is responsible for the strategic planning and procurement of owner-furnished equipment, EPC contracting, and budget support. Previously, Jake was a Supply Chain Lead for Shell and served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. 

Mitch Kronberg, Senior Accountant
As a Senior Accountant, Mitch Kronberg is responsible for supporting monthly closing tasks, filings for property, and franchise taxes.

Amanda Nichols, Legal Counsel, Commercial Transactions

As Legal Counsel for Commercial Transactions, Amanda assists in all aspects of the company’s legal function. Before joining Silicon Ranch Amanda was an Associate at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings, LLP.

John Thompson, Senior Project Manager
John Thompson is a Senior Project Manager and is responsible for overseeing the execution of a portfolio of up to four projects, starting with work we have underway in Colorado. John joins Silicon Ranch from the Tennessee Valley Authority.

Dave Weise, Project Manager

Dave is responsible for overseeing and supporting the execution of day-to-day operational aspects of a portfolio of up to four projects. He’ll manage contract requirements and project deliverable requirements, as well as establish and monitor performance metrics, project schedules, risk profiles, and cost performance of the projects.
