Nashville-area solar energy company Silicon Ranch Corp. has announced the addition of Kevin Howard as vice president of projects and Michael Payne as controller and chief accounting officer.

Howard (on left in photo), a retired U.S. Air Force colonel, leads the day-to-day engineering, procurement and construction operations of Silicon Ranch and oversees shared services across the company, which include purchasing, contract management, project administration, estimating, planning and scheduling.

Prior to joining Silicon Ranch, Howard led global maintenance operations for the USAF at Hurlburt Field in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. and at Davis-Monthan in Tucson, Arizona.

Payne (on right in photo) is responsible for managing Silicon Ranch’s finance and accounting functions. He oversees the company’s internal and external financial reporting, regulatory and reporting compliance and accounting operations.

Prior to joining Silicon Ranch, Payne worked on the corporate finance team of Asurion and previously worked for Ernst & Young in Nashville and in Brussels, Belgium.
