Alert: Beware of Employment Scams
Silicon Ranch has recently become aware of recruitment scams in which unauthorized individuals or organizations are impersonating our company to target job seekers. These scams involve fraudulent job offers made via phone, email, text message, or social media, attempting to collect personal information or request payments for application fees. Scammers may also be posting fake job listings on third-party websites.
Silicon Ranch takes these infractions very seriously and, where applicable, has reported matters to local law enforcement and the FBI. Please note that legitimate hiring managers or recruiters working on behalf of Silicon Ranch will never ask for personal information or money.
If you are contacted by someone claiming to represent Silicon Ranch for recruiting or contracting work and they ask for money, personal information, documents, or any contractual arrangements:
- Do not engage
- Report the contact immediately to your local law enforcement authorities
This type of scam is not unique to our company or our industry. In fact, it has become so widespread that an increasing number of news outlets are covering the proliferation of scam attempts. Please exercise caution and stay vigilant.
