We’re honored to receive a 2026 SEAL Sustainable Innovation Award for CattleTracker™, our patented system that enables full‑sized cattle to safely graze among utility‑scale solar arrays.
This recognition affirms something we’ve known for a long time: it’s solar and agriculture, not solar or agriculture. CattleTracker reflects our commitment to long‑term stewardship, proving that utility‑scale solar can restore ecosystems, support agriculture, and deliver value to rural communities. We’re proud to help move the industry toward solutions that work at scale and leave the land better than we found it.
CattleTracker is the first commercially viable, cattle‑compatible agrivoltaics platform—designed to produce renewable energy and regenerate grassland ecosystems on the same acre. By replacing mowing and chemicals with regenerative cattle grazing, the system improves soil health, boosts water retention, increases biodiversity, and helps sequester carbon, while delivering reliable operational performance for project owners.
Backed by a cross‑sector research team and federally funded studies through 2026, CattleTracker is more than a concept—it’s a field‑tested, evidence‑based solution built to scale across America’s agricultural landscape.
Thank you to SEAL Awards for recognizing innovations that deliver real impact and support communities that feed and power our nation.
